MEET OUR
FOUNDER.
Tvesha Thakur is the founder of VartaVox, a youth-communication platform dedicated to strengthening public speaking, leadership, and creative expression among students. Her work focuses on empowering young people to articulate their ideas with clarity and confidence in an increasingly interconnected world.
With strong academic interests in political science, international relations, and communication, Tvesha has built a profile rooted in research, civic engagement, and youth leadership. She is currently developing a research paper on reservation policies in India, has interviewed global climate activists through VartaVox, and has launched multiple speaking programs that reach students nationally and internationally.
She is also the creator of Beyond the Mountains, a documentary highlighting community voices and critical local issues in Himachal Pradesh. This project strengthened her belief in communication and storytelling as essential tools for representation, awareness, and change.
Tvesha’s journey into public speaking comes from personal experience. Having once struggled to express herself in front of an audience, she understands the hesitation and self-doubt young people often carry. Over time, she transformed communication into her strongest skill ,an insight that forms the foundation of VartaVox: a supportive space where every student can build confidence and speak with purpose.
Today, she leads VartaVox with a mission to make communication training accessible, impactful, and relevant. Through workshops, interviews, debates, and youth initiatives under VartaSpark and VartaFlare, she is building a growing community of young speakers, thinkers, and leaders.
